April Poe earned her nursing degree to become a nurse practitioner at the University of Alabama. She has practiced since 2019.
She enjoys working with patients in their homes. Being in the home helps nurses see their patients as they are and not how they appear in the clinic. Patients can be much more independent than their chart may show, and home nursing can give them more support and care than a short clinic visit can provide.
When she’s not taking care of her patients, she loves going to church and worshiping Jesus with her family and friends. April also loves going to her daughters’ sporting softball and volleyball events and she cheers Roll Tide!!!
