Abby Tragesser, CRNP

Abby Tragesser is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving patients at the Complete Health Trussville clinic. She earned her bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Alabama and completed her advanced nursing education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Before joining Complete Health, Tragesser spent six years in the UAB Emergency Department, serving four years as a registered nurse and two years as a nurse practitioner. This background gives her extensive hands-on experience in sutures, wound care and in-office procedures. Today, her practice focuses heavily on health promotion, preventative medicine and chronic care management.

Tragesser chose a career in healthcare to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to build meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients. Her faith is a deeply important part of who she is and inspires her to approach every person with compassion, kindness and empathy. She views it as a privilege to partner with patients through all stages of life, supporting them during both vulnerable and joyful moments to help them achieve the highest possible quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Tragesser is a proud mother who loves spending time with her husband, their son and their dogs. She stays active by hiking, taking long walks with her family and spending time on the lake. She also enjoys watching sports and is an active member of her church.
