Dr. William Covell, MD

William Covell, M.D. was born and raised on the East Coast and graduated from George Mason University in Virginia with high distinction and honors. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia in 1996, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Covell has provided primary care as a board-certified Internist in the hospital and private practice setting for over 20 years.

Dr. Covell and his family have always had a desire to live in Colorado, and with their children getting older, he and his wife decided to make the move. Dr. Covell is excited to join RMPC and start building relationships with his patients. He strives to listen to each and every patient and truly hear what they are saying. Dr. Covell takes pride in never seeing a patient as just a patient – instead, viewing them as a whole person. Navigating the modern medical arena can be a difficult and frustrating task. Dr. Covell aims to make it a positive experience for every patient by working as a team.

In his free time, Dr. Covell enjoys hiking, biking, and rock climbing with his family. He likes to read a good book, listen to great music, and enjoy the company of a goofy dog or cat.
