Julie Greenwood, NP

Julie Greenwood is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing individualized and holistic care to her patients.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University and her Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing from the University of Miami. She later continued her education and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Northern Colorado.

Julie has thoroughly enjoyed caring for her patients in a wide variety of settings. As a Registered Nurse, she enjoyed working in acute specialties including the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and the Perioperative Unit. She also enjoyed teaching nursing students in their clinical settings. After completing her Doctorate, she worked in ENT surgery and provided primary care for immunodeficient individuals at an immunology clinic. She then decided to broaden her scope of practice and worked in a busy metropolitan urgent care. Throughout her career, Julie has strived to prioritize her patients’ needs first.

She is passionate about providing preventative care and health education to individuals across the lifespan. She is excited to join the team at Rocky Mountain Primary Care and partner with her patients to provide high-quality primary care.

When Julie is out of the office, she enjoys yoga, hiking, biking, skiing, and exploring the great outdoors of Colorado with her partner and golden doodle.
