John Farley, MD

President, Complete Health Alabama

Dr. Farley is the President of Complete Health Alabama and the Founding Physician of BIMA-Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates.   He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and he completed his residency and internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Dr. Farley is double board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Katila Farley, RN, CMOM

Operations Director, Birmingham Market

Mrs. Farley is the Director of Market Operations for Birmingham. Prior to taking on this role, Katila was Administrator for BIMA-Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates. Katila is a registered nurse who enjoys pairing her nursing experience with her leadership skills on a daily basis. Katila operates by empowering physicians and advanced practice providers with the technology to support and facilitate excellent health outcomes and patient experiences.


James Shoemaker, DO

Medical Director, Volusia / Flagler Market

Dr. Jim Shoemaker founded and built Ormond Medical Arts over some 40 years. He trained at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and served as Chief of Staff at Halifax Hospital. He maintains privileges with both Florida Hospital Health System and Halifax Health System. Dr. Shoemaker is deeply attuned to preventive medicine, ancillary support services, primary care driven population health care and innovative pharmaceutical trials.

Mrs. Shoemaker brings 30 years of health care experience, and is uniquely positioned to lead a growing primary care operation across metro-Daytona. As the senior operating executive in primary care and post-acute enterprises, her operations have achieved the highest level of Medicare quality recognition and reimbursement incentives. ​Tammy graduated from Moravian College, majoring in Business Management, and worked for Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals. She is skilled in clinician relations, introduction of value-based care ancillaries, and patient service excellence for primary care practices – empowering providers to diagnose, treat and prevent disease in a cost effective manner.
