Dr. Brian T. Bradshaw is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine with a career spanning more than three decades. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The College of William and Mary in 1981 before pursuing his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia, graduating in 1986. He remained at the Medical College of Virginia to complete both his internship and residency, developing a strong foundation in internal medicine and a deep appreciation for comprehensive, patient-focused care.
In 1989, Dr. Bradshaw joined the practice now known as James River Internists, where he has been a valued partner ever since. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to practicing medicine the “old-fashioned way”—taking the time to truly listen to his patients, understand their concerns, and build long-lasting relationships based on trust and compassion. His approach emphasizes not only the treatment of illness but also the importance of preventive care and patient education.
