OUR STORY
We were tired of seeing seniors settle for primary care that was rushed, impersonal and disconnected. So we asked a simple question: What kind of care would we want for our own families? The answer became our mission: to build a new kind of healthcare from the ground up, focused on providing more personal, more coordinated and more attentive support.

Complete Health and Commonwealth Primary Care have come together through a collaborative partnership called Complete Health Partners. This collaboration helps better support the health of more than 20,000 patients across Commonwealth Primary Care, MD ValueCare, and Complete Health.
Through this partnership, Complete Health’s value-based care experts provide behind-the-scenes support to the Commonwealth Primary Care team using innovative, tech-enabled tools and resources – so your care team can focus their time where it matters most, you.
Instead of rewarding providers based on the number of visits or services, this collaboration emphasizes quality of care, patient experience, and long-term health outcomes. The goal is simple: to provide more personalized, more coordinated, and more proactive care, while helping reduce overall healthcare costs for our patients and communities.

Complete Health was founded in 2018 by Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Preuss, and Chief Development Officer, Chip Dempsey, beginning with the acquisition of Ormond Medical Arts in Ormond Beach, Florida. In its first year, the organization expanded rapidly across Volusia County, followed by its entrance into Alabama in 2019 through the acquisition of Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates.
In 2023, Complete Health grew into Virginia, launching a strategic collaboration with Commonwealth Primary Care, one of the state’s largest and most respected primary care groups. Today, Complete Health delivers value-driven primary care across four states, staying true to its mission of helping patients live happier, healthier lives at home.
