Joseph Relyea is a seasoned health economics professional with over 20 years of experience driving actionable insights and decision support across various healthcare domains. As a leader, mentor, and analyst, he specializes in delivering meaningful reporting and analysis in areas such as contracting, cost and utilization trends, Medicare risk adjustment, operations, finance, clinical services, and business development. Joseph holds both a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from Union College in Schenectady, NY. His passion for healthcare began during his graduate studies, where he collaborated with Professor Martin Strosberg on a research project comparing the cost and quality of care between home-based and facility-based treatment models. This experience sparked his commitment to using data to improve care delivery and reduce healthcare costs. Joseph brings deep technical expertise in SQL and data transformation, enabling him to turn complex data sets into impactful business intelligence. His work consistently supports strategic decision-making and helps organizations navigate an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Outside of his professional life, Joseph is actively involved in his community through coaching local league baseball and participating in church activities.
