Health Education

Good healthcare doesn't just treat you. It teaches you.

Become an empowered partner in your own care with classes and resources designed to give you health confidence.

What is health education?

Health education is any program or resource designed to give you the knowledge and tools to better understand and manage your health. This includes everything from preventing illness to managing a chronic condition.

Why is health education a priority at Complete Health?

We believe that knowledge is power. When patients are well informed, they can make better decisions, become active partners in their own care and ultimately live healthier, more independent lives.

Who can participate in these programs?

Our health education resources are available to all of our patients. Many of our classes and events are also open to the entire community, so feel free to bring a friend or family member.

What kinds of topics do you cover?

We offer education on a wide range of subjects relevant to senior health. Topics may include:

  • Nutrition and healthy cooking.
  • Fall prevention and home safety.
  • Understanding Medicare benefits.
  • Advance care planning.
  • Managing conditions like heart disease or arthritis.

What is the format of your health education programs?

We offer information in a variety of formats to meet different needs. This may include in-person classes and workshops at our clinics, virtual webinars, online articles or one-on-one sessions with our care team.

Is there a cost to participate?

Most of our health education classes and resources are offered at no cost to our patients and the community as part of our commitment to health and wellness.

How can I find out about upcoming classes or events?

The best way to stay informed is to ask the staff at your clinic for a schedule of upcoming events. You can also ask our Patient Advocate Team or check our website for the latest information.
