Urgent Care

For those times you need to be seen right now (but not in the ER).

Get prompt attention for urgent, nonemergency needs from a team that’s already connected to your primary care doctor.

When should I visit urgent care instead of the emergency room?

You should visit urgent care for urgent but nonemergency issues. If you are experiencing a life-threatening condition like chest pain, difficulty breathing or signs of a stroke, you should always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What conditions are commonly treated at urgent care clinics?

Our clinics are equipped to handle a wide range of common urgent health needs, such as:

  • Minor cuts, sprains and strains.
  • Colds, flu and fevers.
  • Sinus infections and allergic reactions.
  • Rashes and minor burns.

Do all Complete Health locations have urgent care?

Many of our locations have a Complete Health urgent care or walk-in clinic nearby. However, availability can vary. We recommend you check the specific page for your nearest clinic location to confirm its hours and services.

Will I see my own primary care doctor at the urgent care?

You will be seen by a member of our skilled urgent care team, which may include a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant. While it likely won’t be your specific primary care doctor, they have access to your medical history, and all notes from your visit are shared directly with your primary care doctor for seamless, coordinated follow-up.

Do I need to be a Complete Health patient to use the urgent care?

While our clinics are primarily here to serve our established patients, we also welcome new patients. Using our urgent care can be a great first step to establishing a relationship with our primary care team, who can then provide your ongoing care.
