Brian Wegner, MD was born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Cherokee, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1997, and completed residency at Trinity Lutheran Family Practice Residency Program in Kansas City, Missouri in 2000. Dr. Wegner joined Rocky Mountain Primary Care in December 2004. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Wegner has been certified by NCQA in both Diabetes and Heart / Stroke. Philosophy: “To treat a person’s entire well-being by establishing a mutual partnership between the patient and physician, in order to promote an individual’s health by emphasizing disease prevention and utilizing up-to-date medical knowledge in treating illness.” Dr. Wegner and his wife, Bridget, and their three young children enjoy biking, hiking, skiing and, of course, playing on the jungle gym in their leisure time.
