Dr. Jonathan Southworth earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Alabama. He has been practicing medicine since 2004 and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
With a passion for comprehensive patient care, Dr. Southworth enjoys all aspects of medicine, from treating acute illnesses to guiding patients in managing chronic conditions. He values the long-term relationships he has built with his patients over the years, finding fulfillment in helping them achieve better health and well-being.
Dr. Southworth pursued a career in healthcare to combine his love for science and medicine with his desire to help others. Before joining Complete Health, he spent nearly a decade in private practice in Brewton, Alabama, followed by two years with Brookwood Medical Group. He then dedicated seven years to emergency medicine at Lawrence Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Blount.
Outside of the office, Dr. Southworth enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. When time allows, he loves hunting, fishing, and taking family trips to the beach. A passionate Auburn fan, he also enjoys watching classic John Wayne movies.
