Dr. Raleigh Kent, M.D. earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He has practiced primary and surgical care since 1983. Dr. Kent is passionate about providing surgical care to patients with thyroid/parathyroid, gallbladder, hernia, and breast disease. He also enjoys helping patients cure their diseases and heal their wounds with their care team.
He spends his free time traveling and hiking in the USA and Europe, walking the different neighborhoods of Birmingham with his wife and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named George. He enjoys reading history and collecting antique furniture.
