Jessie Parris, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, WCC

Jessie Parris, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, WCC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Complete Health Pell City Urgent Care.

With 15 years of wound care expertise, including six years as a certified wound care nurse, Jessie is deeply committed to improving patient outcomes through education. She believes empowering patients with knowledge about managing conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and wound healing can lead to remarkable health transformations.

Jessie earned her MSN from Chamberlain University and previously served as the Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Services at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She also has valuable experience in home health nursing, endoscopy labs, and correctional medicine.

Inspired to pursue healthcare after caring for her mother during a serious illness, Jessie is passionate about combining patient care with education to help individuals make informed decisions about their health.

Outside of her professional life, Jessie enjoys spending time with her family in nature engaging in activities like camping, hiking, and fishing. She is also passionate about cooking, grilling, and BBQ/smoking and serves as a judge for Kansas City Barbeque Society competitions. Volunteering is another aspect of her life, including guest lecturing at the UAB School of Nursing and participating in community events at local hospitals.
