Dr. Elizabeth Carstensen earned her degree in medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She has practiced since 2019. Dr. Carstensen is passionate about preventative care for the entire family from birth to geriatric. She is especially focused on women’s health along with the management of chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and depression.
In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband, two sons and their dog. She’s a dog lover who volunteers at the Birmingham Humane Society and she loves reading novels and historical fiction.
